BIBLE - A Beka
Our Bible curriculum consists of prayer, Bible stories, and the learning of Scripture verses.  Special time is allotted each day for this instruction.  Our textbook is the King James Bible, which we believe to be God’s Word.

READING – A Beka
Since reading is an important skill relevant to many phases of learning, we believe it imperative to use the best possible methods and techniques in our program.

PHONICS – A Beka
Phonics, we believe, is a vital part of any good reading program.  It is our belief that through phonics a child can obtain an understanding of words which will enable him to become an effective and independent reader.  Some of our children read two or three years above their grade level.

ARITHMETIC – A Beka (K-5 – 4th), Saxon Math
(5th-6th)

The primary objectives of our arithmetic program will be first, to bring about an understanding of numbers and the number system; and second, to bring about the complete mastery of the basic skills.

SPELLING – A Beka
New rules are taught with each lesson.  Many words are given during the week which are applicable to the rules. Children learn rules and apply this knowledge to a vast number of words.  Therefore, there is little limitation in what most of our children can spell.

MUSIC
The students will receive expert musical training from an accomplished vocalist and musician.  They will also take part in two full-length dramatic musical presentations.
